Greetings, I’m Martin Drapal, and I work as a Client Onboarding Manager based in the city of Prague, Czech Republic. With over 16 years of experience in the dynamic field of localization, my professional journey has been nothing short of remarkable.

My started as a Localization Engineer. In this role, I gained my expertise in localization processes and proficiency with third-party tools. My exceptional performance soon caught the eye of management, leading to a significant opportunity. I was handpicked to drive an initiative to expand our presence in Nanjing, CN, where I played a pivotal role in establishing a new localization team. The dedicated professionals I had the privilege of training quickly evolved to become the core of our Nanjing office. Some stepped into the role of Project Managers, while others assumed positions as DTP and People Managers. Witnessing their growth has been a source of great satisfaction.

After successfully establishing the Nanjing team, I returned to Prague and took on the role of Localization Lead. This phase of my career allowed me to further develop my leadership skills and enhance my client-facing expertise, deepening my commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Subsequently, I embarked on a new challenge as a Project Manager, aiming to broaden my knowledge in people and project management while continuing to uphold our commitment to client satisfaction. During this tenure, I received positive feedback from our valued clients, reinforcing my dedication to excellence. I spent approximately 5 years to this role, progressing from a junior to a senior position.

My journey took yet another exciting turn with an organizational change, leading me to the role of Onboarding Production Team Manager. This role provided a wealth of experiences and fulfillment as I applied the knowledge and expertise I had gathered over the years. These experiences and insights have equipped me to cultivate strong client relationships and to lead cross-functional teams effectively.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of successfully onboarding new clients, implementing streamlined processes, and establishing best practices that continue to drive excellence in the localization industry.
